Sharjah amends maternity leave law / 60-day maternity leave for Sharjah public sector
Was goin thru the above article in Gulf News & Khaleej Times.
As per GN this law applies for all working mothers but as per KT only for Public Sector. Strange rite!!!
Now wat are they upto? if its just for the Public Sector that means, we the working mothers of Private Sector should stop giving birth??? or that our baby doesn`t need the love, care or breastfeeding!!!!! Most of us dont prefer to quit the work to be with our child, is just because that its difficult to survive with one earning member and not because we dont want to love, care and breastfeed our child. Its so difficult to part our child and be at work but we have to go thru it. Am sure atleast some of the lovely ladies out here agrees to this.
Such kind of partiallity is really heart breaking specially in a country like UAE. Now lets wait and c wat Dubai is gonna decide......
All expecting moms, lets keep our fingers crossed.
