I don't want to detract from the other thread..

She is good. She goes in on Friday for another cat scan and or MRI. The insurance company of the girl wants a complete check up on both girls so they can determine the long term medical bills.

My daughter is having vision problems as of now but the last doctors visit (on Thursday) the doctor stated that it had only been a week and there was still some swelling but nothing to be concerned about. Her pupils are dilating normally. Her blood pressure is normal as in her heart rates so they don't seem overly concerned.

There is concern for her leg though (the car rolled over it). There is a thought that something was missed in the xrays so an orthopedic surgeon is looking at those and the back x-rays since she is still having a lot of problems with those.

The driver of the vehicle is back in the hospital with severe brain swelling and bleeding on the brain. :( Those parents were hit with a big whammy as the insurance company told them she is not covered since she was at fault. She has no personal insurance so those bills are going to be astronomical. The poor girl was working 3 jobs to help with her fathers cancer treatments so its a double set back for the family.

We had a setback this week (they haven't given us our passports back since the visa cancellation, they claim to be backed up) so will leave next week. My grandmother took my daughter in to get her checked. So still dealing from afar.

Oh, dear Lord, I do hope it works out for all of them in the end. I hope your daughter's vision problems are only temporary and that her leg and back improve with rest. That poor girl who was driving the car.. Are you back there yet, or still having to handle it from afar with your oh-so-nonchalant mother in charge?
