Terrible experience @ Mattel Play!Town
We got our 3 year old to have dinner the night before and breakfast on the day by telling him that we were going to Mattel Play Town...only to reach there and be told that the place was closed due to a 'private' event...This was at 10.30 AM and the facilities were to open for 'public' only at 2:00. Not only did we have to deal with a thoroughly disappointed child who refused to cooperate the entire day after that, but also had to cancel other commitments. We have been to many indoor play areas like Mattel Play!Town - the cheap ones as well as the expensive ones and also hosted birthday parties at such locations. However, we have never ever seen anyone get turned away because someone else has 'booked' the entire place. I understand that adults may face 'preferential' treatment due to many reasons. But subjecting an innocent 3 year old to this -when all he wanted to do was to have some fun on the weekend - is completely unacceptable.
This treatment from Mattel Play Town is extremely unfair and we would like every other parent to first call and check if your child is welcome to avoid a similar experience. Or better - simply avoid this place!!!
