Hi ladies,

We're back on The Ticket on DubaiEye103.8 this afternoon from 2pm! Today we'd like to discuss tips and advice for new parents travelling with newborns... With a lot of families travelling for summer, we can imagine there's quite a few new parents with their babies jet-setting off back home to see families and friends.

There's no doubt the first flight with your new baby can be daunting... So what advice would you share with them?

Share your tips with us and we'll read them out on air!

Tips for travelling with newborn. Have nerves of steel to handle all the stares when the baby start non-stop crying near the end of flight. I never understand why people aren't more understanding or considerate. They can use ear plugs and or noise cancelling headphones. Babies cannot fathom what's going on. Im just so glad that you hardly experience blocked ears on the A380 for when I do the DXB-UK-DXB flights with my baby later on this summer. Hopefully my LO will be a complete Angel and if not I'll start glaring back at anyone that stares in our direction :-)))) Or, perhaps you could just give them an apologetic smile and recognise that other people, even if they have been through the same experience, do not enjoy the sound of a screaming baby. You never know, if you don't GLARE, you might get a sympathetic and possibly even helpful response. I'll be too busy tending to my baby to be giving anyone but her smiles, I find babies don't even have to be screaming these days before people are looking at parents in disdain!

Travelling with new born is such a dream really. Just nappy bag full of change of clothes, bassinet booking for air travel, breast feeding cover, or extra bottles if bottle fed ..crew are more than happy to help sterilise with hot water. I so so miss the peaceful days of travel now that I have a hyper toddler....barely survived 8.5 hours travel last month!

I don't have kids so no tips, however I know my SIL used to board the plane armed with dummies, nappies, blankets and pj's for my niece and nephew I was searching and found this to be quite appalling... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/travel_news/article-2880362/Have-ear-plugs-case-don-t-enjoy-public-serenade-Parents-flight-baby-distribute-goodie-bags-placate-passengers-35-000ft.html Why would parents need to apologise in advance if their baby cries?

I always tried to book a cot on the plane and seating beside it. I always found that if landing or take off got delayed of didn't coincide with a bottle feed I would always carry a couple of bottles of baby fennel drink or something similar so that they had something to swallow to prevent their little ears from popping. Lets be honest, sometimes ours ears pop so theirs might.xx
