AXA will cover Canada but not the USA. Wow. Much more difficult than I imagined!

you also need to bear in mind that most travel insurance don't cover medical in North America....

Have a google for an international travel policy for expats, i found one last year but can't remember for the life of me what it was called! Emirates also do one linked to Bupa which we have used, maybe worth checking out.

I made one with HSBC (you need to hold account or card with them), but no idea if there's a limit on travel days as I needed less than 30 days anyway. There's contact info on their website. Added: I know the no. of trips is not restricted. <em>edited by Kermi on 16/01/2011</em>

We've always used AXA for all insurance but for travel insurance they will only cover me for 92 of the 165 days I will be gone this year. Are there any other good companies out there for travel insurance?
