Hi all, I have a question regarding getting divorced in UAE. My husband and I are separated and I am on a spousal visa. I found out he was having an affair and the way things are looking, I don't think we'll reconcile.
I have just resigned from my job as I feel I needed a bit of time out and planned to find something in a few months. Although should we get divorced I'd have to leave the UAE for a while because i won't be on his visa any longer.
So my question is, do I have any right to stay in the UAE after we're divorced? Or am I able to stay on his visa for a while till i find my feet? Just an FYI, I am married under Sharia law.

In such serious matters, you need to ask for advice from professionals, and not on the forum. They can tell you nonsense here. I turned to the current lawyers with a question about divorce [URL'>https://gaonlinedivorce.com[/url'> , they helped me and gave me advice. You need to do the same, just contact those who understand the legislation of the country in which you are located.

I am really sorry to hear this. In this type of scenarios its better to consult with a divorce lawyers in Dubai. They can help you in understanding each and every process of getting divorced and after that. https://www.alsaadiadvocates.com/practices/family-lawyer I personally recommend Alsaadi advocates because they had handled my friends divorce case.
