I'm a memebr of their frequent flyer programme and I've used Etihad a couple of times each year for that last 3 years to fly home and never been offered an upgrade. I don't think it's something they do but maybe someone else has had more luck??;)
Sometimes if you book an economy flight with Emirates, few days beforehand, they will contact you by email to see if you would like to upgrade to business - has anyone had the same experience with Etihad? would really like to know as I need to book flights later today.... thank you!
