I am at the end of my patience with Better Life servicing department and I have decidied to buy a new one.
I prefer a top loader but not sure which brand, its between a Samsung and LG does anyone have one that they are happy with?

Better Life have been trying to fix mine for 2 weeeks now and I am no closer to getting it back. The service is appauling, I would have thought that I should get more than 3 years from a Fisher and Paykel machine!
Not happy!

Thank you for the replies. I cannot understand why service is so difficult, after a technical coming to my house 3 days running and was not able to fix it he then takes it to the workshop to be repaired. I call them everyday, Thursday was told "I am sorry it's a code 39!" I am expected to know what that is- the person to whom I was speaking had no idea either. He said that someone would call me back- still waiting. I just called them yet again and was told that the technician was on a day off and would call me tomorrow. I explained that I have been waiting for many calls to be returned and I asked to speak to the manager. After I spoke to him to let him know I was not happy with the product or the service he advised me that it would cost me 850Dirhams to be repaired, this was including a 200Dirham call out/service fee. So I am in a situation where I have to pay for the service fee in any case so I may as well get it fixed. Next time I definatly wont get a Fisher and Paykel! Service- there is none.

I am with you with regards to Better Life and Fisher and Pykel or whatever they are called. We had a Fridge freezer taken way for 2 weeks just before Christmas when they said it would only be 2 days. I nearly killed them anyway....my washing machine though is the business! It is simple, easy to use, has a really quick wash setting which only takes 36 minutes and all the usual stuff. It is super quiet and has an 1300 rpm which means stuff is nearly dried before it comes out, I love it. It is an LG but at the moment I don't know which model (am not at home to find out). It is about a year old and uses some new technology which makes it quiet, cannot remember what though, sorry. I got it from Ibn Battuta LG store near the far end near Geant. It is heavily used and I have not had one problem with it in over 18 months. Sad but true, I love my machine!

I have an LG WD-14331(6) ADK - it is a front load washer/dryer, that has been going non-stop for 3 years now, approximately 10-15 loads a week, with only one repair during that time. I couldn't be happier with it!
