Agreed. I am wondering why they don't show the menu on TV screen? It would save paper but people would still be able to read the menu. WOW! I never thought of this for planes.. but if there are any EK people on the board.. what a FAB idea! It bugs me that I get a menu that is a waste of paper... BUT.. I don't eat a few things, so do like to know in advance what is on offer... I would be more than happy to read the menu off the ICE screens! I do remember that at one of the Hilton hotels we stayed at over the summer the room service menu was on screen. Seemed like such a good idea and easier if the menu changed than re-printing!

Wow, this is the first time I have been shot down by a fellow expatwoman, cheers. I don't think it does read that BA booked me in economy, I clearly stated that "we were medivac(ed) back to UK by our insurance company. Also, I clearly stated that there was a free seat behind my husband. Do you or your DH work for BA spongemonkey? Also, some people like to know what they are eating! Please don't post again, I am off to visit my very sick DH in hospital for the next 12 hours or so, where the most amazing surgeon has saved his life. Luckily I am a very strong person, please don't pick on someone who more fragile than me. I don't think it is clear at all what you meant ...eg you also said [b'>"unfortunately [/b'>there was a spare seat behind my husband" ? So BA let you sit in Business when you had an Economy ticket? You should be thanking them then? No I don't work for BA btw.... Sorry your husband is ill but that doesn't mean that I have to agree with your post. Shot down in flames? First time? You can't read this forum very much then as we all have at one time or another. Please don't post again? Let me think about that.....

It's funny but what one person criticises another likes - I think that it is a good thing that menus have been abandoned as it is SO wasteful on paper and unnecessary ( if that is the case - not the case in Business or First). Long gone are the days of indivdually flight route and dated menus! Agreed. I am wondering why they don't show the menu on TV screen? It would save paper but people would still be able to read the menu.
