I've been to the Hilton treatment/spa area and I'm always invited to hang out in the relaxation area afterwards, with a cup of herbal tea or water. Noice.
I received a GoNabit 'deal' on the day spa at Atlantis [must use by 31/3!!'> so I'm hoping there are equivalent relaxation areas there ... With apologies for the thread-jack; has anyone tried there? :)
Yes you can use the relaxation area at Angsana, but not the outdoor pool. I guess that's the same for Hilton.
And I just used my gonnabit voucher for DH and me last friday at the Fairmont for the 90 min massage and I had the whole spa to myself ( footbaths, jacuzzi, aromatherapy steam room, relaxation room with drinks and fruit) then we sunbathed round the pool all day, then went and used the spa again! Amazing experience.

Treatments at Ansana are really good, but I don't know why they insist on having 30 min relaxation time in the time of the treatment, no other spas do that.
Most spas in hotels don't let you use the outside pool if you go for a treatment, that would be an extra cost.
I think I may resist this too if there are no facilities to relax in after! There are always fab spa offers coming up on there so may wait for next one!
Thats rubbish if you can't use the facilities. Treatments are so expensive, they should let you make a day of it! Also it would be a good way of getting new potential memberships!
I had a voucher given to me for Christmas and phoned a couple of weeks ago to book a massage at the Angsana at Arabian Ranches and apparently the pool is no longer available for use by spa guests. Very disappointed as wanted to go and use the pool for a couple of hours before the treatment. I have used the one at Montgomerie and that was great but wasn't aware of how they time their sessions so was surprised when 90 minutes went so fast - 60 minute massage and 30 minutes of doing nothing. Still lovely though.
Enjoy!
If you're going for pregnancy massage, I would actually recommend the one in the Marina Walk (if that's an option). I had the preg massage at the Arabian Ranches and it wasn't nearly as good as when I had it in the Marina branch. Also be prepared that the time is never what it says - I had a 90 min session booked which ended up being a 60 min session with 30 mins relaxation time (whatever that was), so if it is 60 min, your actual massage may only be 30-45 min...
Enjoy though!
I'm about to buy it too and I think i'll use the one at Arabian Ranches as they have the pool and spa facilities you can use too. There wasn't much info on the website for the other locations.
Its a good deal! I love those sites!!! AR will be lovely, am choosing between Montgomerie and Meadows only cause they're just down the road. I think I remember being told the Montgomerie was really lovely, but the Meadows one is closer, and if thats also good then may as well go there... hmmm decisions decisions....
