amwaj rotana has nice rooms, but poor pool area - very shaded and crowded and also because it isnt directly on the beach it doesnt have its own beach area-you have to use the public beach. The buffet breakfast was very good, and the italian restaurant also was very nice. One other thing about amwaj is that the pool area seemed to be populated with russians! Dont know if thats a good or bad thing! Cant comment on the other two hotels except to say that they have a nice bar in each of them ;-) edited by vodkapops on 21/04/2011 <em>edited by vodkapops on 21/04/2011</em>

Sofitel is ok but rooms are not very big, pool is small and you can't find a chair by the pool unless you wake up at 5am!!
