Go to marina mall they do 3M window tinting one of the best ones you could get, they do the same at MOE and a few other places but all different prices..Also quieter at marina mall and cheaper,and less of a wait. hth V Kool is the best window tinting that you can get here its better than 3M. I asked in AD the other day at vkool as we have had 4 cars over the years done, and they started at around 1200 but i could get them down to nearer 1000. Be aware that now you are not allowed to tint the windscreen even clear tint as you could before. Be aware that if you go for the cheaper versions they will not last at all. We have had all our cars done as soon as the rules were relaxed 8 years or so ago, still looking good, they have a warranty on them for 5 years. The other versions that come from the likes of germany or egypt etc do not. The first car that we had done was a Seat Alhamhra which is a 7 seat van, it was black and the first summer it was too hot when having a baby in the car, the metal seat belts would burn, as soon as we had the vkool done it was lovely and cool. I tinted mine (4x4) the weekend before last at Ibn Battuta. It is genuine 3M and was the 50% heat reduction film at a legal 70% VLT or 30% tint however you want to word it. It cost AED950 and comes with 5 year warranty...they did an excellent job and took about an hour and 15mins. fully cleaned the windows as you expect, before applying film. if any of the windows bubble, i just take the receipt back and they will re do it (for 5 years). there is a cheap 3m colour stable film that was 750 (cant remember the heat reduction) i think and then the crystal tinted film that started at 2600 but was 80% heat reduction (all prices are for back and sides only). As busybee states, its now illegal to put ANYTHING on the front screen clear or otherwise. <em>edited by Blueskies on 06/02/2011</em>

I am also planning to have this done and asked for a price at Times Square, then I also asked at MOE as a matter of interest - it is much cheaper at MOE but I don't know if it is the same quality.
