I feel your pain, i have been through 5 hairdressers in 3 yrs and have even walked out without paying because they messed my hair up.. I have finally settled with Tara at Essentials on Al Wasl and have never had a complaint, she is great..
Sorry to drag up an old OLD thread but i too went with Tara since 2007 and was gutted when my last appointment in July 10 at essentials was with another lady who quite frankly i found VERY rude.
I was told Tara was on holiday, which at the time, yes was true....but apparently she has been on holiday in Australia since...this, ladies is simply not true...
She is finally in another salon (after a bit of a lengthy and unpleasant visa process) working in [b'>Cut Above [/b'>in Jumierah Center (next to Spinneys).....Do your hair a favour and go see her (i am not on commission before anyone asks) just relieve to find a stylist i trust and get great results from...
At the end of the day its not the salon you visit its definately the stylist!!
I am even going to try the reflexology and upper body massage in the next week!!
it seems a much friendier place to be honest.
