Hi Ladies

The nurologist wishes to do this tomorrow with no local anastetic due to age - any experience??

Mine was a little older (6) but we made a spaghetti game out of it, and took lots and lots of photos - i.e - Oh look at you!!!! Amazing, lets send a photo to nanna! etc etc. She breezed through!

Hi PM. As a child I had epilepsy so I had to get many EEG's. There isn't any pain, but it can be intimidating with all the wires and the process of applying the electrodes. Maybe you could ask the doctor for a mild sedative. Your daughter would need to be awake because they would ask her to open or close her eyes at different points in the EEG. Good luck and I hope the results are OK.
