Hi does anyone know if medcare carries out the anomaly scan or will be sent to FMC like many are referred to, and if they do conduct it in the hospital around what week is it carried out ?

Hey southern one more question if you don mind , but was it your normal doc doing the scan or some other specialised sonographer. The thing is i have my app with my doc on the 12th of July (19 weeks) and i don know if that is the day when i will have my anomaly scan or will she schedule it on a seperate date No it wasn't my normal Doc, at my 19 week appointment she gave me an appointment for the scan for the specialist to do on a seperate date.

Oh thanks Southern thats such a reliever cos i really didnt wanna run around for this , now lets just see how my tests results go when it happens :S It'll be fine, the doctor who did my scan was very informative, completely ignored DH though so might want to warn yours.

I Had mine at Medcare, at 20 or 21 weeks. You only get refered to FMC if your scan and blood work come up with something wrong.
