Hi Ladies
Just wondered if anyone had any experience with Dr Deb, I have been seeing her since March and still cannot make up my mind, I have decided to stay with her because of the hassle in changing and people tell me you are never 100% with the whole experience.

Would be interested to here what other people think.

Hi Hassli, It’s hard for me to give you my opinion on dr. Purnima as I only met her when I was 38 weeks then again at the birth and she only attended for the last 10 minutes, I didn’t want to go back to med care for my 2nd birth and found out 3 weeks before my due date that the Dr I should have used at city was away on holiday – I changed a lot because I wasn’t happy and ended up seeing the midwifes and health bay for most of my pregnancy I used Dr. Purnima because I was sick of worrying about it in the end. The birth was ok, like I said Dr was only there for the last 10 mins and I had English mid wife with me for most of the labor she was great. I saw Dr. Purnima about a week later in the corridor of the hospital and she didn’t recognize me, If I was to do it again I don’t think I would go back to her.

Hi, My baby was delivered via csection by Dr. Deb. She's been my doctor right from the start and i really enjoyed having her as my obgyn. I used to go to my check ups with a long list of questions (and my husband also had his) and she patiently answered each of them. Since im a first time mom, she explained what i can expect to happen/feel in the next couple of weeks/days during my check ups. I know these are standard practices but she was always very warm and motherly which helped ease my fear of giving birth. My delivery was a breeze, as it was csection it took only about an hour from the time they injected the anaesthesia till the time my baby and i were wheeled into our room. I stayed in the hospital for 5days, she did her rounds between 7and8am daily and made sure the baby and i were ok. The hospital stay was pleasant, the nurses were very attentive. I really only have good words for Dr Deb and definitely want her to deliver my next baby.

Gently bump... I'm confused. I don't have problem with dr. Purnima but suddenly I can't make up my mind if I wanted her to deliver my baby. Maybe I am just scared as I'm a first time mom. If anyone has experience with dr. Purnima, I would love to hear it. Thanks a lot, Hassli

I would also like to hear peoples feed back I’ve had to change doctor’s right at the last minute (it’s been a very stressful) and I’ve ended up with Dr Purnima Deb at city I’m due to deliver in 10 days but haven’t met her yet, I’m due to meet her on Tuesday. I don’t really have a lot of choice now but would be good to hear what people think.
