Hi all,

I am 7 weeks and this is my first, i am quite paranoid and i keep panicking with the slightest discharge or spotting. anyhow, our fertility dr. in bournehall is no longer there so we thought we take someone more local to us in Al zahra. Dr.Yamini is fully booked so we booked with Dr. Nirmala. I am not sure with her, when she did my scan she didnt look well and was very cold and was not assertive in her answers.

any one has any experience with her?

hi Naddu200, Have you delivered as yet? Did you finally go with Dr nirmala? I just met her today and yes, she does come off as very cold and unconcerned but sometimes that distance allows me to communicate more clearly as my emotions are detached. My antenatal therapist was not 100% on her and I am not checking with my doula, but it is always good to have more feedback from people with first hand experience. I am currently 33 weeks and switching doctors because my previous doctor started discussing c-sections at 31 weeks... not sure why she did but she did and it freaked me out quite a bit! TIA Nabs

Hi Naddu200, Yes I am with her as well I am currently 13 weeks. She does come across as quite cold but to tell the truth I like that in her. She is very to the point and will tell what you need to know. I will be more thhan happy for her to deliver my baby. While doing my scan we actually had a joke and a laugh. Just think that you need to get to know her. I will stick with her as I have heard nothing but amazing things. x We were both me and my husband turned off by her but we will give it few more visits then we will decide. what i didnt like i didnt feel she investigated enough why am i having spotting. compared with Dr Dimitrios who spend like 15 min just to make sure he didnt miss a thing.
