I moved from the Uk to Dubai (Jlt) just over 3 weeks ago - can you tell me where i can take my 5 month old to be weighed??

If you just want ocassional weigh-in's and no appointment any medical centre will let you pop in and weigh your LO without an appointment :)

Im sure i read on the noticeboard at Motorcity medicentre they do weigh ins there for babies ...Give them a call :)I cold be wrong but it rings a bell :) I think that is 10am on Wednesdays.

Hey Laura - most of the clinics/GP's here have nurses who could do the weighing or they hold Baby Wellness days (MediCentre near Mall of the Emirates does, just not sure which days again). Cooper Health on Al Wasl has a midwife, Debbie who can help. Also do a search for Cecile de Scully, she does baby weigh-ins on Saturday mornings, no bookings needed. Just can't recall off-hand where she is situated now again, but it is in a nursery closer to Al Safa park, sorry! Hope you find a place you are happy with :). I have a 4mth old myself, so know all about it ;)

Sorry, don't really know of anywhere else. Maybe one of the larger pharmacies would have suitable scales for babies. If you have personal scales at home, weigh yourself first and then step on with your baby and the difference will give you his weight.
