Hi. DS is 2.5 and potty trained but I still tend to use pull ups as I'm scared of accidents when we out in public. I'm slowly changing to wearing pants but what's happened is when his wearing pants he ends up wetting the bed at midday nap time. This makes him really groggy for the rest of the day if his sleep is disturbed due to being wet. So how do you deal with this, should I put a pull up on every time he falls asleep? Or alternatively where can I find those waterproof disposable mats like Huggies do in the UK to protect the bed.

Hi Poppy, 2.5 years is still young still to be toilet trained at nap times. While DD was trained at 2 years in undies all day, i would always put a sleep time nappy on her. She understood that its only for when she went to sleep. When she woke up dry consecutivly for a month or so then i took them off her. Then did the over night ones after that. Make him go to the toilet before he goes to bed to help with the accidents as well. But i would def try and have undies during all day time and 'sleep time' nappies. Then there is a clear line between the two. If that makes sense? HTH
