HI Ladies.

I was wondering if anyone had a sterilizer they might let me borrow for 2 months? I'm due in Feb and due to medical reason cannot breastfeed so will be doing the bottles. We are moving to the States in April and so it seems silly to buy one that i can't take with me because it won't be the right electric current. :-(

If you happen to have one lying around that you aren't using.... would you like to share?

Thanks!

ETA -we are near dubai marina so perhaps there is someone nearby?

If anyone is still looking we have a microwave sterilizer that we never used as it's bigger than our microwave and I ended up ebf-ing so don't need it.

You have mail. You will definitely be able to use this one. I got this particular one because it was the biggest on the market for sale (don't worry it isn't huge and unsightly!) But, I use Green Baby bottles (which are glass and tall) so it had to fit them...

Hey tanya.. that would be great. can you email me at jenijohnston at gmail dot com? I have avent bottles, but these sterilizers should fit most normal size bottles right? When my other kids were babies i remember that the type of bottle wasn't the same as the brand of sterilzer i had at the time. Anyhow... thanks so much and I'll wait to hear from you. cheers!!

You are welcome to have mine. My DS turns a year at the end of Jan. I need to stop sterialising now, so this is a good incentive. It is still in really good condition (it is just the inside bottom element that doesn't look so flash). I have used it for nearly the full 12 months as I expressed breastmilk from when DS was a month old. Anyway, it is a tommee tippee brand. Just let me know.

The tablets stink and they are a major PITA to use. Do some research on Microwave sterilisers before you make your decision. It really couldn't be easier and the amount of sterilising you'll be doing for a newborn will blow your mind ;)

hum... never even heard of a microwave sterilizer. Then again, I'm one of those freaks that don't ever put ANY plastic in the microwave so probably not the thing for me :-) will also look into the tablets. thanks!

jeniawad. I would buy a microwave steriliser if I were you. They're really reasonably priced and do as good a job as an electric one. I used one with my last 2 babies and they really are so easy.
