Does anyone know of an IBCLC (board cert. lactation consultant), qualified breastfeeding counsellor, peer support group or other specialist bf support available in Qatar? Would be most grateful. Thanks!

Most of the breastfeeding support is through Doha Mums, we have a [url=http://www.dohamums.com/events/breastfeeding-mothers-support-group.html'>breastfeeding support group[/url'> , non-members are welcome (and it counts as a joining event) its run by the very lovely Sarah Hannibel who is a doula and LC, she was on her way to be being board certified when my son was born so I guess she must be by now. I will email her contact details rather than post on this forum although I think you can contact her through the link I provided too. There are also a few other LCs who are members of Doha Mums (and contactable thorugh the site) and there was a post on the [url=http://www.expatwoman.com/qatar/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=168726'>Doha EW forum[/url'> with details of an LC the other day (not sure if she is a Doha Mums member). <em>edited by kiwispiers on 03/01/2012</em>
