Ah, OK! Well it got to a stage for us where she was crying every time i put her in it, and i could tell she was uncomfortable, so i just took it out and didnt fling the car round corners etc. I was nervous for a couple of weeks, but she was totally fine. Might do just the same then. Thanks, Kelly_C and YorkshirePud.

ETA we have the maxi cosi so the head support is connected to the bum-wedge bit (im sure that has a proper name!) so thats what was making it all too small. If the head support was on its own, i probably would have left it in longer. edited by Kelly_C on 19/04/2011 That's why I was asking, also have the maxi cosi. LO seems so squashed with the wedge bit in.

Took DD's out when she was 3 months as she wasnt comfy in the seat anymore and looked really squashed. I did worry about her for the first few trips, and sat in the back with OH driving to make sure she wasnt flopping about. ETA we have the maxi cosi so the head support is connected to the bum-wedge bit (im sure that has a proper name!) so thats what was making it all too small. When they are able to fully support their head, but my DD is 17 months and I still leave hers in as when she falls asleep her head flops and I'm worried it will cause her damage. :)
