Thanks ladies, I though the castor oil is not a way to go, sounds ghastly. I have also tried everything too, my due date is this thurs. so going to go to my acup till then and hope for the best. Mother nature knows best right. Good luck with everything abby_n_christina.

i would avoid it too... have heard that all is causes is diarrhea i'm past my due date... and have tried pretty much everything else... pressure point massage, nipple stimulation, s**, evening primrose oil capsules, raspberry leaf tea, walking, squatting, etc... nothing seems to be working... at the rate this is going i'll be going in for a csection this thursday as the doc wont let me wait any longer :(

I would avoid it at all costs! Apparently it can just end up giving you a bad case of diarrhea instead of inducing labour, not fun! I would google other natural methods of inducing labour and give them a try instead :) good luck.
