I had a wonderful massage last Saturday after starting off as a mediocre Swedish Massage.
What I am wanting to know is 'has anyone experienced this type of massage for regulating menstrual cycles/fertility issues?'
- My cycle is very regular every 25/26 days however following this Tuina Massage I started bleeding after only 17 days! Not immediately the following day on the Sunday. This was most unexpected.
I made an appointment the for following day at the clinic to proceed with IVF and explained that my cycle was much shorter and we wanted to go ahead. However when the ultrasound was completed Dr said that the blood was more dark in colour than the bright blood I had seen present the day before. (Incidentally I had not bled overnight, however my periods are so different since having fibroids removed in 2011. I now only bleed for 3 days max, where previously I was heavy the entire week)
Clinic completed full screen for bloods felt like a human pin cushion.
Still unsure if this was a menstrual cycle or some stimulation to scar/adhesion tissue at myomectomy site.
I also had a laposcopy 2012 but had no apparent issues with healing.
Waiting to hear results from tests taken.
