Crazy hormones??
Hello ladies would be interested to know if any of you have experienced something similar? I gave birth 7 weeks ago 3 days after giving birth I felt "different" it was like something had changed in me - felt quite emotional and continually worried about what might happen to my new baby. This seemed to coincide with my milk coming in. Every time I breastfed I had this weird feeling in my stomach almost like when you do an exam. Anyway it has been like this on and off for the last few weeks. A week ago I had to give up breastfeeding due to having to take medicine for an infection I got. Again the hormones seemed to go crazy and I felt so low this last week. Today I feel like I'm returning to "normal" again. Has anyone else gone through this? Is it breastfeeding related? Will I feel fully human again once my milk has dried up and how long does this normally take? I have seen the doctor and they tell me I need to be patient and wait for my hormones to calm down. I am also being tested for my thyroid function as I had issues with that during pregnancy. Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance for your thoughts.
