Hi December 2012 mommies:)

How are you and your babies doing?

Me, I'm doing fine and my LO (boy) aswell though he suffered from colic and maybe reflux too. We are using infacol and this works for him. I am both breastfeed and formula feed..We switch from similac advance to similac total comfort.

I will be back to work in march and he will be in nursery.. He will be 3 months then.
He smiles and cries a lot. We usually go out in the afternoon for a short walk outside.. I am thinking he can see now as he keeps looking at my face or maybe he is just following my voice.. I carry him a lot to comfort him.. Most of my friends told me I shouldn't do that but what to do.. He eats approximately every four hours.. We still don't have schedule playtime though I always talk to him every feeding time as he is misty awake for an hour or so. Sometimes he will not let me sleep from 12midnight to 4am, too stressful but I know it will pass soon..

I have 3 cats.. From Time to time i let my furbabies smell him so they will get used to each other..

Hope to hear from you aswell :)

Hi MrsCB I'm from murraqabat area. We are far from each other :) I usually go for walk at the back of our bldg or have a walk till reefmall. It's nice to meet other moms but I find driving with LO a stressful one specially when he wakes up in the middle of the journey as I need to pull over and swing him to sleep. The vaccination day went fine. The doctor advise me that i shouldn't feed the baby an hour before the vaccine to prevent vomiting (as the nurse saw me giving him milk.. good thing its only an ounce. He cried a lot afterwards as I can't feed him in an hour after the vaccine. Doctor said that he might have some fever afterwards, good thing it was prevented as the doctor prescribed baby adol for two days. I wonder why the doctor didn't give us other medication for his cough and cold apart from the sinomarin nasal spray. He gives on waking up from time to time because of this. :( Hope the humidifier we have will help him in anyways (read that humidifier is good for baby's cough and colds) He's taking only one vitamin a day for two months (pediavit blue with vit. A, D, C). Maybe will ask the doctor on his 3rd month vaccine appointment if he requires more. May I ask, what application you have for your iPad/iPhone for your LO. My favorite is baby center and relax melodies :) Have a nice day :) edited by Hassli on 04/02/2013 edited by Hassli on 04/02/2013

Hi Hassli I am up on a night feed (big yawn as this is the 3rd one tonight) and just seen this post. My little boy also has a bit of colic and it's so hard to help them and have tried so many different things... I am now using woodwards gripe water from the UK, I had to change milks a few times and now on similac but the blue tub one and it seems to be ok but he has really watery poos and they are very green!!!. Went to get this checked and been told its normal but iam still unsure. Going to ask my midwife on Sunday. I am also going back to the UK in march for a few weeks and found that they don't sell this formula there so as you know the tubs don't last long especially when mine feeds 120ml around 8 times a day and don't want to have to pack tubs of it so may need to change again. He feeds every two to three hours and some days will hardly sleep and still keeps me up during the night. He has no routine and he changes from day to day as to when he wants to eat. Sometimes he cries that much for food I give him a bottle and he only takes 80ml then wants another one in a few hours. I also go for daily walks as he loves being our so if you want to meet for a walk and coffee let us know. ?
