Sorry tmi but i am 12 weeks last week and have my appointment this week coming. went to the bathroom and there was brownish discharge on my underwear and when i wipped. I am really worried, tried to call the hospital to see what they say. But off course no one ever answers in Obstetrics, advice ladies? Dont want to over react but just a bit stressed............

thanks ladies for your replies. Ended up getting it all checked out. Bub is all fine and very active, she was actually waving at us at one point which was terribly cute. thanks for the responses again. I had never had it with my other 2 so was just a bit worried. :)

Brownish should be fine, bright red is when they worry, spotting during pregnancy is very common though.

Spotting is normal for many women but always get any sort of bleeding checked asap. Call your doctor. It is most likely nothing but always best to get these things checked x

Normal. I had it at 12 weeks and 17 weeks with both my kids. Its called spotting. Only when blood starts flowing is it a bad thing.
