Hello Ladies,
Ive put up a post a few weeks ago, asking advice and info on OB's re C-sections, 2 Ladies recommended Dr. Faisal or Dr. Raj..
In the meantime, as i was still in AU so i went and saw my usual OB in Canberra, he suggested Dr. C. Jozsa from the American hospital however when i phoned up i found out he hasnt been there for a year... :(
Has anyone heard of him or can recommend any other OB's as i cant seem to get in touch with the other 2 OB's either...
I am now in Dubai for a week, I'll be back again after 5th Jan and will be here - all going well till birth... I also am very keen on meeting you all in person thru mums groups I have a little 11.5 month old boy Leon, I think I am feeling a little home-sick already!!!
Any info Id greatly appreciate! :)
Ta!

Hey Baslaefx1 I am seeing Dr Jozsa - I am due in May. He seems absoluetly lovely so far. Really chilled out and reassuring. Will always tell you to call him on on his mobile if you have any problems outside of office hours which is nice. He is also really easy to get appointments with - which is good for me as I work full time. The clinic seems really well organised too. Very little waiting around and the midwives are all really good too. Would definitely recommend him. I know 3 others who have delivered with him (1 c section and 2 natural) and they all really liked him too. Hope that helps!

Hi Baslaefx1, I had a c-section 6 months ago with Dr. George Michailidis. He's a partner at the Nine medical clinic in Healthcare city and he delivers at City Hospital. I cannot recommend him enough. I had a complicated pregnancy and his care and support throughout were more than I could have ever wished for. He really takes his time with you at every appointment, gladly answers all the questions you might have and explains everything in detail. He is so considerate and kind, you can tell he truly loves what he does. My c-section scar also looks great and I believe that's thanks to his good work. I wouldn't consider going to another doctor in a million years. Dr. George is the best of the best! City hospital is an amazing hospital. The midwives there are just lovely, super friendly and helpful and everything at the hospital feels bran-new and very up to date. Good luck with your pregnancy and let us know if you need help with anything else :)

Hi Baslaefx1 Dr. Josza used to work in American Hospital a fair while ago but now he works out of Healthbay Polyclinic and delivers only at City. I'm currently pregnant and chose Dr. Jozsa as my OB. He's had lots of positive feedback on here. I obviously haven't gone through the whole birthing process with him yet but so far he has been pretty amazing and I couldn't recommend him enough. He knows his stuff and has a fantastic, warm personality, and importantly for me, is pro-natural birth. However I'm sure I've read on previous threads women who have had c-sections with him and were delighted with the whole process. I can recommend you get in touch with him when you're back. City is also an excellent hospital and Healthbay have a team of western trained midwives on staff. The place has a really nice feel about it. Good luck.
