Does a position of a baby affect how soon labour starts?

Just wondering-if the baby is head down does it mean one would go into labour sooner than if it was breech? Or, in other words, if baby is breech then later labour? Never heard anything about it being that way but I guess there would be some logic in it... Anyone has any clue? Thanks:)
