are your hormon level is normal? do you have regular periods? These are more important then weight. If all is in norm - then weight should not be a big issue.
Best advice - yes - relax and have *** -) this is what i am trying to do now - though finding it difficult since have tendancy to overthink and over research =(
Hormone levels normal, cycle normal, have been tested for PCOS. I'm all good except for one blocked tube which Dr says is still ok as the other works fine :) DH has a few issues which we working on with supplements so I know the chances are low but still hoping! Having to deal with weight is just too much too lol.
Lexie - overthinking and over research my problem too!!!!! Although am starting a new job, hoping it will take my mind off all this a bit!!!!! :)
Sending baby dust your way....x
My Dr said I need to lose 10kg! Who has fallen pregnant after losing the weight? I tried , I really did and lost a few kg's but then get all depressed that I didn't fall preggers and so as the circle goes got depressed and comfort ate and I am still eating after Christmas. If it was a guarantee I would lose 20kg,it's just so hard!!! I'm short 1.52m and weigh 64kg, so not enormous...
18 months down the line TTC, can't afford any more treatment for a while so need to try something "naturally" although am actually thinking of "taking a break" - have heard it can do wonders :)

i was 94kgs, i know shocking, lost 24kg's....also gave up alcohol (me n dh) which i feel also contributed. but this was also tied in with pcos and managing my type 2 diabetes....not sure which factor helped us to conceive.....but i think weight loss certainly helped....

Pingu, when i fell pregnant with DD2 i weighed 61kg and am 154cms tall so dont give up hope, your in your healthy weight range so im not sure what your Dr is on about?? Good luck. Xx
Yep - agree with everyone else Pingu... relax, get a job/ book a holiday for 9 months time/ throw out your baby gear - it's bound that happen then! ;) 2011 is the year for it and if you're ovulating, your cycle is steady, and you're eating well - your weight (and you're definitely not in a situation where you should be concerned about it) should not be an issue.
Fingers crossed for you love xx
My doctor told me that stress is the single biggest factor in causing (temporary) infertility, he said that stressing over losing weight and stressing over not drinking this and not eating that will do far more harm than good.
He also said that the pressure I was putting on my husband by timing conception etc would definately not help, as men have huge male pride and feel like failures if they do not make the pregnancy happen when the wife demands.
In fact he said forget about getting pregnant, get drunk and have fun having s.e.x, we fell pregnant 2 weeks later. All the best x
I doubt the weight is really the issue either. You do need to take a break-i didn't get pregnant till I had officially resigned myself to not getting pregnant-if that makes sense. I know it isn't easy to focus on other things (after 7 years and well meaning friends and family asking the wrong questions!) but if you can get away and have a nice self indulgent holiday it just might help! Just try to make it a holiday where you are doing things-such as exploring rather than just focusing on relaxing to get pregnant (which could still be stressful)-you need to alter your focus.
As difficult as it normally is to do, my doctor said the best thing for any couple is to take a long break. As on holiday we are less stressed, and generally have more time to get around to it! The other tip he said was to have full fat dairy in your diet, eg full fat milk in your coffee etc. As you say you are clearly not obese which I would have thought would be the only real reason to go on a harsh diet. Best of luck!
