Is it true that FMC doesn't accept any insurance through direct billing but only allows for reimbursements? I was googling something and just read this. Any thoughts?

Thanks Niggly. I called them today morning and they confirmed the same. Unfortunately reimbursement is not a good option for me as I have to pay 20%, and I have already coughed up an obscene amount of premium to my insurance company as I were pregnant already. Am plannig to go to a place like Medic, which is much inexpensive, so no pre- approval is required and they do direct billing. CP80 - try American Hospital as well. I didn't go there but I understand they can perform the scans - perhaps others on this forum can confirm? take care

That is correct. Your insurance company should normally reimbuse with you within a few weeks.
