Hello! The balloon man does have a huge variety of balloons and I think they come and set it all up for you. Don't have an idea about the tables etc though. For party supplies check out partysouq dot com it's an online store,and they deliver to you, I ordered some baby shower supplies from them recently and got them in 4 days and they do have first birthday stuff as well Cheers!
Edit: haven't tried house of cakes but I went for a friends daughters 1st bday recently and the cake was yummm will ask her where she got it from n will pass it on to you :)

Hi my twin daughters will be turning 1 in a month (time flies) and I would like to have a birthday party for them. I was wondering if there were any comments on the following:
1. Which place is good and cheap for balloons? I want some free balloons as well as a few bouquets made (like an arch).
2. Can I rent tables/chairs from some place? Especially low ones for kids?
3. Can anyone tell me if the taste of the cakes at House of Cakes is any good?
We basically will be inviting our friends but they all have kids between 2-6.
