From Aptamil 1 to Aptamil 3? Milk requirements for a 1 year old, please advise

Okay so I'm a bit confused about the next stage of formula to give DD.
Aptamil 2 was making her constipated so I stuck to Aptamil 1, but now she's going to be 1 year old in a few days so should I switch to Aptamil 3, and skip Aptamil 2 altogether?
Does she even need to go on stage 3 or should I put her on just cows milk?
Please advise!
