Hi,

Pediatrician has just put daughter on a gluten and dairy free diet and I need to find her a formula asap. Can you recommend one that you have used and also tell me where to find it. I know I should have asked the doctor but didn't think about it then!

Thanks

dont worry about whats "the done thing" , lol, my DD has been so ill for as long as I can remember, you just start doing whatever works. I am still breastfeeding!! (Not because I want to, but because for a long time it was the only thing that didnt make her sick and she accepted nothing else many days). My DD is now putting weight on and no longer complaining of pain and/or vomiting etc. Once we went gluten free she started changing within days! Its been amazing, hard, but amazing.

Thx purple. She is 2.4 years old and still very attached to her evening milk.....not the done thing I know but at the moment she is I'll and has been the whole of this year so for now I would prefer to give her the formula in the evening and if she doesn't like well ten she'll have to give it up there and then. The remainder of the restrictions Im very familiar with as I have a very good friend who is celiac and her children are too. Thanks for the Facebook reminder, I have actually looked it up before but forgot about it......today I feel like I need a new brain...one that's fuctionibg properly lol.

How old is she gemm? Does she really need formula? Can you give her soya milk? My DD is gluten free (diagnosed in april) but shes 2, I have a friend who does dairy free and gluten free, but again, her kids are a bit older, 5. There is a facebook page, gluten free -uae, search for it, Im sure many people there can help you. Also, the organics food and cafe have a nutritionist in the shop every day. Also search EW for gluten, lots of informative posts on here :) Good luck!
