IVF money back guarantee??
Hi ladies,
It's been a while since I've been on this board, lovely to see you all again.
After a failed ICSI cycle in Sharjah (and saying we wouldn't do IVF again) DH has decided that this is so important to him that we have to give it another shot. I don't particularly want to try again but my main objection is that I want a family (regardless whether the children are biologically anything to do with us) and our finances aren't too healthy right now, so I'm worried if we spend the rest of our savings on IVF there won't be anything left to facilitate an adoption if the treatment fails. (DH is open to adoption but wants to be SURE that we can't have our own before going down that road).
I have seen that Dr Fakih offers a treatment guarantee - you pay for 3 treatments up front and if you don't get pregnant you can have your money back. Has any one used this guarantee? Any success stories or cases where the refund was refused despite no baby? If this is as good as it sounds it would allay a lot of my worries as, whilst I'm not particularly jumping for joy at the thought of further cycles (and needles and hormones!), my main concern is our finances.
