Hi All,

I'm currently 17 weeks pregnant and due around the end of July (any time between 25th-30th - the date moves every time i have a scan!). I wondered if there are any other women in Dubai due around the same time that would be interested in sharing experiences?

Cheers

Jacqui

Hi ladies, I have less than 9 weeks to go. Dr says I will probably deliver sooner as am suffering with high sugar. Doing the City Hospital tour this Friday-but would be great to meet up.

Hi ladies. This is my first post after nearly a year and a half! I'm due with our second baby on July 28, and will likely deliver at City or American.

I'm due on the 29th July and although I planned to go back to the UK to have the baby, I'm most likely going to now be staying in Dubai. Iit would be lovely to get to know some others who will be going through the same pregnancy/birth phases and then the newborn baby experiences and sleepless nights at the same time! I plan to have the baby at City Hospital.

Hi All, So lovely to hear from others who are due around the same time! I'm sorry it's taken me a while to get back in touch but I've just logged back in to the website tonight and realised there were a few posts against my message. I thought they would alert me by email. Jacqui x

there is a recommendation for antenatal classes on the Sep due date board : ) It's my third so I wont be needing any. I think Sunshine is right though, the system here is quite different to the UK, where I would have said antenatal classes were essential for first-timers to understand what will happen during labour and what their options are. The only thing that might be useful here are the tips on what to do AFTER the baby is born; eg how to bathe, top & tail, change a nappy, feed etc. The second day of my two day ANC in the UK was devoted to this, and was invaluable for me as I was clueless.

Hi Prat03, spoken about antenatal classes with friends who have had little ones already, and not one of my friends have highly recommended doing antenatal classes. Your dr and the midwives will tell you what you need to do and when. So we have decided to 'use' that money for afterwards if we need lactation support or something like that. That's just what we have decided...

Hi Jacquilb, I'm just over 18 weeks and was wondering if anyone else was due in July... I am still loosing weight-not at my pre-preview weight yet, which my dr is not happy about. Seeing her in 2 weeks time and the weight is still staying off. Ironic-as I used to put on weight if I thought about food. Love to catch up with some other expectant moms.
