I've looked at several threads on this topic but cannot seem to find a clear answer. I'm wondering how to legally hire a part time nanny (not a maid). I'm not interested in sponsoring anyone, as this would be short term. All of the agencies I've seen posted on this website seem to either (1) provide you with contacts that you can then sponsor or (2) supply part-time maids (not nannies).
Has anyone hired a part time nanny? How have you done it? I'd be looking for someone for 4-5 hours a day to watch a child while I work from home.
