Hi there- have any of you taken this onboard? We have bought a child seat for our DS who will be 7 months when we travel. We hope they don't give us any issues with taking this onboard. It has the ECE R44-04 code on it (which accrding to EK is acceptable) but can't find anything on Etihad and the agent couldn't provide us with the exact car seat requirements.
Any experiences?

I don't know with Ethihad but it wasn't acceptable on Qantas. Crazy really when the alternative is a lapbelt buckled to yours.

Are you sure it's acceptable with EK? I was told, it must be forward facing and be able to be secured with a lap belt, which is not possible with the maxi cosi cabriofix? Sorry, can't help with Etihad. <em>edited by Kermi on 05/06/2011</em>
