Hello,

I'm a bit desperate here. I'm four months pregnant and the new insurance from my husband's company doesn't cover either of the three hospitals we've been recommended by our specialist (we're having twins and need a hospital with a good nicu).

Can anyone please recommend an insurance that is not crazy expensive and will cover at least Latifa? (the other two are city and welcare, but I guess those are out of the picture given their prices).

Thanks a lot.

I have not heard of any insurance doing direct billing with Latifa as its a government hospital. It would be most probably pay and claim basis as that's what I have read in past threads. Does your insurance cover nmc speciality qusais? I have had a good experience there and they have a NICU which has been established for at least 7 years now but I cannot comment how it is. The neonatologist who we saw for our baby's very high jaundice levels was very good and thorough so I can reckon the NICU must be good also. You can definitely have a look and decide if it works for you. I was with dr Babita. Cannot comment on their pricing now but 5 years ago they were cheaper than welcare.
