Hi ladies,
DD is almost 8 weeks and has hated swaddling since the start.
She was like Houdini and would manage to get her arms out no matter how tightly we tied her, and scream and cry until we let her loose. We had the snuggle pod from mothercare which didnt work either.

The miracle blanket looks interesting, I saw that mothercare have their own version, does that work just as well the original? Or can you get the real Miracle Blanket here?

I think the mothercare one is the real-deal, just made for mothercare especially. its no different to the other miracle blankets I bought online. For husbands it def easier than regular swaddling. It worked really well for us and I'll be using it all over again in around 10 days or so ;)

i bought my miracle blanket in MC - didn't think there was another type or that the one I had was not a proper miracle blanket! Oh well, doesn't matter, it was fab for me and DD! No arms escaping and I was able to keep her hips and legs nice and loose as i didn't like the idea of swaddling too tight and straight. edited by tweet on 12/09/2012

try swaddling with legs out, much harder for them to escape. If she hates it that much though then it probably it won't help with sleep.
