Hi everyone, I am really hoping this site will help me at least have a tiny clue to this problem I have been having that just gets me so upset..I have been living in Dubai for a really long time now practically since I was a child met my husband here and gave birth to my beautiful daughter that I love so much.! She was born very healthy no problems, regular check ups and vaccinations up to date but recently she has been getting sick so often I can cry. She has started nursery when she was one and a half and she was fine for the first year but lately every two weeks she catches some sort of infection. And doctors always prescribe antibiotics and she more or less has been taking them non stop for 6 to 7 months now its crazy! All doctors say its from the nursery but I am not so sure really. I mean I know children get sick often and very easily pass on their viruses to other children but this often?? I am considering all sorts of causes for this and so far I am completely clueless..We have done allergy tests for dust and pets (we have a cat) and they came back negative. One doctor said she has got a "procratvive bronchitis" but if thats the case how is it caused?? My husband is sure that it can be Dubai and all the pollution and all the AC (especially considering the fact how badly they are maintained) but I just dont know.. We have recently moved from Jumeirah to the Palm and it got worse..She keeps coughing non stop! We have tried all the neubilizers and all sorts of things to help it but nothing.. My mom has stayed in our apartment when she came to visit and told me she found it difficult to breathe..could it be the humidity of living so close to the water?? At this point I just want to know whats REALLY causing all this so if anyone has ever come across a situation like this any help or advice will be very much appreciated!
Thank you in advance!
