Hi every one,
I rarely write about personal experiences, although I read a lot on line and I value all the shared experiences.
I recently decided to hire a nanny to help me with my almost 2 years old in preparation for trying to go back to work.
I used nannies dubai and I was messed around so much by them
First I had to pay 3000 dirhams then they kept sending cvs for people who are already having jobs or recently found jobs
They never interviewed them or checked their references as per the contract
I managed to meet 3 candidates out of the 20 cvs they sent as most of them had new jobs already
2 of the 3 I met were already going to start new jobs one in a restaurant and the other in a school
The third one was nice but had no experience and her english was poor
I accepted to take her and when I asked her to give me her papers to do her visa I discovered
That she was on some sponsor's visa and she was dismissed from her job after 2 weeks and
The sponsor only gave her time to be here with the husband for few days and had no idea she was
In my house !!!!
After many trials with a very rude russian woman , the owner of the company I threatened
He that I will go to the police if she will not return my money since she could not introduce
Any one that can be hired
She and her assistant Pakistani woman were so impolite and only when the sponsor of the
Maid who was placed in my house agreed to witness at the police on the illegal placement of her maid
They reluctantly give me back most of my money minus minor charge
Weeks of agony and I wish I read the thread on Expat woman on this subject as someone had the same experience
Now after few weeks gone in this agony, any advice on how to find a reasonable nanny/company
