I know some of you know our story so update... Reagan is now on Prograf. It's an immunosupressant given to transplant patients to prevent rejection of the transplanted organ. (She didn't have a transplant but her body was mimicking organ rejection and rejecting her kidneys) She has been on since the end of August and her kidneys have been functioning normal since about a week after the first dose. She is also now on a very low dose of prednisone. So, she is down from 6 medications multiple times a day to 4 pills per day. At age 3 she swallows the pills with no liquid!!!! Fingers crossed that she continues this way because if so, she will be weaned off in another 2 years and only started again if her kidneys stop functioning properly.
Thanks again for all the advice and good thoughts sent her way.
And she's a darling! ;)
She told daddy about how little Harry shares so well and that Parker needs some lessons!!! :)
