I went for an IUI and managed to just get pregnant. This is unbelievable news for me. There is one problem though. The triggers triggers hyperstimulation of ovaries and for past one week, I have been living with a bloated stomach. Pregnancy hcg made it worse. According to doctor, its under control but am very concerned about my little baby.

Has anyone experinced this? Thanks

Sweetlily Thanks for the kind response. To be honest, I don't know my doctor well at all. Of course I had a IUI in his clinic. But that's about it. My doctor is Dr. P of Conceive clinic, Sharjah. I haven't managed to speak (even online) to someone who expereinced OHSS before. It seems like this is not a very common condition. I met Dr. Grace of Dubai Mall Medical Center too. She asked me to keep walking around to avoid blood clots. I fear there is nothing much one can do about this condition. Am just living now hoping things will turn out to be fine.

I don't have personal experience with OHSS but just wanted to say congratulations on your pregnancy! How well do you know your doctor? Do you trust the doctor? Do you feel like your doctor generally gives you good advice? If so then trust when he/she is saying now. If not maybe go and seek out another opinion. Are you involved with any online groups for people who have used fertility medication? Maybe you can find someone that has been where you are now? Hope that helps a bit. I know it's not much but didn't want to read and run and wanted to say congrats to you on your pregnancy! :)
