Hi all,

I am mom to an 8-months old baby and keen to do some work. I have decided against full-time work as that would mean not seeing my boy during the week but is there any way of working part-time/flexible hours?

I understand that it is illegal but than have heard from a friend that they occasionally take on mothers (on husband's visa) to do some market research for them. Does anyone know how to find these kinds of opportunities?

My background is in marketing communication. I have worked on agency and client side in London and Dubai and have experience in market research/surveys, PR, internal comms, brand management, event management, advertising...

I also heard that the UAE has introduced a new visa which allows students and housewives to allow part-time/work from home but my husband's PRO has not heard of hit.

I'd really appreciate your feedback. Thanks in advance!

I know Dr surgeries are always looking for part time receptionists. Not sure on the hours but maybe try some of the main ones, like Poly Bay, Cooper ect and go from there.
