Just for information - research shows that perineal massage neither increases nor decreases the risk of tearing during childbirth.

Thanks for the suggestions ladies. I was going to try those but in case anyone is looking for this in the future - I eventually found some Zita West oil for perineal massage in Blossom in Dubai Mall.

You can just use olive oil, which is what our midwife suggested. Or coconut, or jojoba. Yep ky gel works too
