Is there anyone here pregnant after a previous c?

After how many months/years gap did you conceive? Does anyone have any uncomfortable feeling with uterine stretching etc?

Thank you for all the responses. I was totally worried about a rupture or something horrible like that because of my gap (conceived 11 months after the 1st section). Sweet lily: your case inspires me. Kakariki : yours is even better. I just want to put the worries in the back of my head and believe in myself now. Thank you. If you want, I can send you links to information that I found helpful. I could also send you my birth story. I started with a lot of fear also but was able to get through it. Just send me an email if you'd like them at sweetlilydoula at gmail dot com. :) Also, here is a link to a previous thread that has lots of links on it. http://www.expatwoman.com/forum/messages.aspx?TopicID=167145 Edited to add the link. edited by SweetLily on 08/05/2012

#2 was conceived about 4 months after the c-section deliver of #1. #2 was VBAC and very uncomplicated. Didn't have any pains or spotting or stretching of the scar etc.

I fell pregnant when my daughter was 8 months old. She was 17 months when I gave birth two months ago. I was also worried about scar pain but had nothing and felt wonderful through the whole pregnancy. I ended up having a beautiful VBAC. :)

I conceived my second when my first was 17 months old. I have felt a slight tenderness on my scar (now 19 weeks pregnant) but no internal pain or tenderness. I did have cramp like feelings early on (uterine stretching I guess) but I had those with my first pregnancy too so I don't think they are c-section related.

Sorry I had c section to my 3 rd child when my 2 nd child was 2 yrs old, as my doctor suggested I wait at least 12 months before getting pregnant again. I had a 10 yr gap between my 1st n 2 nd child

I've had 3 c sections i left my last one a 2 year gap between them, last one 6 months ago. I had sharp pains in my stomach in my last pregnancy nothing in previous and was more uncomfortable but with no spotting etc so doctor said nothing to worry about. I thought as it was a boy, i was carrying him different to the girls. Hi fairycake: thanks for the reply. Sorry, I didn't get how much gap you had between them. Are you saying you conceived again when you second baby was six months old?
