Morning,

Has anyone here had any experience with a Quinny Zapp Xtra, thinking of getting one to travel back to the UK with as our Mama's & Papa's Pilko Pramette is way too heavy.

Also do you think it would be cheaper to buy in the UK or here?

Any advice is very much appreciated.

Thank M, I went to Dubai Mall Y'day and saw that the Xtra wasn't too good for travelling, so we ended up with a Maclaren. It'll have its first road trip this afternoon! Many thanks.:)

Hi Suz&Olivia We also have the M&P Pilko and used it for travel to Sydney and yes it was annoying and cumbersome so we recently bought ourselves a Quinny Zapp and I understand it is the only model that folds down to a size which allows you to take it on as cabin luggage so it's perfect for travel. The Zapp Xtra doesn't fold down to this size as the seat is not foldable (if I recall correctly). Certainly when we bought our Zapp, we were interested in a model that we could take on board and this was the only one. The drawback is that the seat on the Zapp does not recline but it does on the Xtra. If you are keen on the Zapp, I would suggest you wait until the next series of sales as we bought ours from Babyshop at 50% off, around AED500. You may also be able to pick one up second hand at that price.
