This is a bit personal and hopefully won't disgust anyone, but since I gave birth ( 6 weeks ago) I've got the worst B.O. ever. I'm not sweating at all, but my BO seems to get worse and worse. DH claims he doesn't smell it - i think he's trying to stay on my good side - but there have been several times when I've actually smelled myself and hoped no one else did.

I have tried putting on extra deodorant and even used my husbands, hoping it was stronger, but to no avail.

Am I the only one who has had this? What can i do about it??!!!! Someone tell me it will go away. please!!!!

I have had a hightened sense of smell through both my pregnancies and it has continued for quite some time. When both my DS's were born till about the 3/4 month mark, I was convinced I smelled like raw onion. DH thought I was going nuts and I'd never had any complaints from close friends/family and a brutally honest 3 year old DS who won't cuddle me till I've brushed my teeth some mornings ;-) Just make sure the Chlorophyll tablets are safe to take if you are breastfeeding. Just today I convinced myself that I smell of raw onion ... I keep smelling it all the time I'm pregnant around 14 weeks ... Extra teeth brushing and perfume time for me and I could still smell it :@ Oh dear, it's horrible isn't it? Oh dont talk to me about brushing teeth and perfume...most perfumes triggered my sickness and I couldn't use anything but DH's blue Barney toothpaste throughout my pregnancy. Eeeeeew....! My teeth constantly felt dirty dispite brushing them 20 times a day with bubblegum flavour. hehehe

dHi Jen! Well it's obviously your hormones affecting you in one of two ways. It's either increased your smelling sensation or it is making you perspire more. When I was a teenager I had a real problem and couldn't find any deodorants that helped. I finally was advised to try taking Chlorophyll Tablets, which are a natural mineral supplement. Within two weeks, no more smell. Chlorophyll cleanses and purifies the blood, cant do you any harm. Not sure where you'd buy it here, maybe at Organic Cafe?
