Hi Mums,
Nice to see so much of mums to deliver their little ones in June,my due date is also in June.Im new to abudhabi and wiling to deliver my baby here itself rather than going to my home country, but my husband is scared whether i can handle it my self all alone.
So can anyone please tell me the best hospital i can go to ,for my delivery, currently im going to a doctor in Al Ahalia Hospital.
Also how much will it cost to hire a nanny or maid to help me with the baby for a period of 03 months on a daily/hourly visit.
Thank you

Hi Al Noor Hospital is very popular, the old one in Khalifa Street and probably more well known is the new one on Airport Road (near the Grand Mosque and Zayed Sports City). I personally delivered (3 years ago) in Al Rahba hospital, which is government and I found the aftercare from the nurses and midwives to be excellent - they really helped me get off to a great start with breastfeeding. You would find the same at the Corniche Hospital which is the main maternity hospital - although waiting times for ante natal appointments in both Corniche and Al Rahba can be quite long, medical care is generally regarded as excellent. Although beware that apparently the corniche have now changed their policy to only accepted direct billed insurance so there is now no option to pay upfront and claim back, excluding lots of people from the service. You can expect to share a room in the corniche with other mums, you may have to share in Al Rahba but they have a lot of single rooms, and you would get a private room in Al Noor. Hope this helps - good luck !!!!
